Did you ever get the car d.delano? I had a dark green one (95 E320) I sold to stefanoII a few years ago and I think he has racked up close to 200k miles on it since then. In addition, I think he made mention of selling it here not too long ago. Anyway, the older I get the more I like my '83 240D

. I will say that the '95 E320 got good fuel mileage if you took it easy on the gas pedal. I seem to remember it getting between 27 and 28 mpg highway. Have you considered a 1995 E300?
