I just bought a 1988 300CE from a friend that went to the north shore of Oahu. The car is great but has a fuel mix problem I think. Do you have a good indy mechanic in Los Angeles? I'm going to try to get the car over to Enrique in Tarzana this weekend. Its got 100K on the clock but we figure its around 125k miles. I have lots of the papers from the original owner and what my frined did the last six months he had the car. The injectors and plugs and fuel filter need replacing. Everything in the exhaust may be original. I'm attempting to get the motor internals clean enough to pass smog. And so it runs better.
Let me know how it goes with the injector replacement.
