Help!

I am VERY new to this and trying to diagnose some problems on my 1980 450SL. I have read about a lot of people referring to a vacuum and/or wiring diagrams, and I was wondering if anyone had those they could send to me. My email address is zack.fogelman@gmail.com

Also, I have been trying to find some reference books or manuals that would give me the best info for working on my car, but am having a hard time finding one that gives good, solid info. Does anyone have any recommendations for a book/manual/CD that would be the best to use for reference?
