The cam follower is ticking possibly on #2 and the intake on #2 is making a popping sound.

Just curious, would bad delivery valve seals in the IP cause the intake valve to make this popping noise or could the ticking cam follower be causing the intake valve noise? BTW, 1984 2.2 (601) 190D.
