Thats why american cars have so many cupholders, they are boring to drive and our speedlimit is way too low, so they have to makup for it with lots of buttons/gadgets and holders for food. MB's reflect the highspeed pleasure that our European friends enjoy.....its not fair.

I rarely bring any drink into my car, if I do, its a free 20oz from speedway, and I just hold it and drink it down, no need for a cupholder.

I will admit I considered one of those holders in the auction above though, I just never got around to it/don't see the real need.
