It is funny that you are talking about all of these breeds of dogs. I am in the process of adopting a Border Collie, but was not thinking about the dog as a "guard dog". BC's are very obedient, easily trained and generally (IMHO) the coolest breed out there. Any stories of "Border Collies Gone Wild"?
