I just repaired a leak on my '69 in July:
http://www.sl113.org/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5373. It isn't too difficult. Getting to a couple of the transmission-to-engine bolts was a bit of a fuss. I have a tip for getting the top-most pair of these bolts. Remove the carpet over the transmission tunnel to reveal an inspection plate at the top of the tunnel and another on the right side. If you remove these plates you have easy access to the bolts.
