Tried new cap....no change, although it is a aftermarket from Advanced Auto Parts..20lb. Will try MB cap when dealer is open on Monday. Temp did not seem to go as high as previously but still went to about 100.

The aux fans do come on so they are working.

Would t stat be suspect here?
