Sounds good. I am going to do most of the work on this car as well. Will only take to Enrique for diagnosis of problems and for some work if needed. I think its much more important to perform the work myself as time and money permit. I have worked on cars and trucks years ago. Once helped with the install of a MBz 300 Diesel into a Land Rover 109' series 2A project that also had all modern Range Rover british police spec running and driveline gear. Amazing truck. My friends built three of them. All paid for by importing mint condition classic 109's into the US from Switzerland. The one I helped build is serving as daily family driver in Canada.
Thanks for letting me know all about the injector seals. Let's compare notes on our cars. Thanks for writing back.
BTW, this is my first MB also. We did have a dark blue MB Diesel sedan when I was a kid and this 300CE I have reminds me of that car.
Also, which fuel are you using? Are you passing smog? How many miles? I checked the carfax and it appears that my car actually does have 110k miles. Is you're 300Ce a daily commuter or get around town car? Mine is for picking up my two sons from camp. Then in September I might restart my decorative painting business. Maybe I will use this car. Hopefully I wont have to go back to painting right away.
Regards,
Jason
