This is supposedly what seperates us from them. The "radical" "evil" head-chopping *********s that we all hate. To become them is (in my opinion) to let them win.

Isn't that a good thing as far as wars go? Would you rather have thousands of American soldiers dying everyday?
The status quo is working because as long as we are the worlds "superpower" we will be fought. I'll take a few deaths as opposed to hundreds or thousands in this, or any, "war".
