I just bought a 1985 300SD and the acceleration between 20mph to 40mph takes anywhere from 15 to 25 seconds.
Is this just something I have to live with or can I improve the acceleration?
Also, does anybody know where I can get seats or maybe a cheap way to rebuild the springs? The previous owner must have had a heavy left hind-quarter.
