I'm in the midst of reconditioning the sunroof and all things sunroof related on my 123. I searched and would like to know a definitive answer about what to use on the teleflex cable.


I found this post while digging. White lithium? That's way to simple. If the slides take this ultra expensive super-duper paste then the teleflex cable needs something only obtainable from the mother land, with a secret handshake or something to get it.

Phtt. White lithium. Couldn't be that easy.


BTW. I did manage to secure a 6 or so oz. container of the correct slide paste.
Really nice mechanic at the MB dealer gave it to me. I had a good discussion and he offered up his personal parts cars if I needed anything for the 123. Made me smile inside that people are still nice.

Didn't even need a secret handshake.
