actually if you sit them side by side you can see a lot of differences without taking anything off.
reinforced pan. longer crank nose. different belt set up. bigger harmonic balancer. intake and exhaust manifolds. coolant overflow tank.
i suspect the reason he doesnt want to use the entire motor is that it is broken.
you really dont want to go to all the trouble to convert it over and have it blow up on you in a few months.
if your na engine is running well, enjoy it. if you want a turbo, sell your car and buy a comparable condition turbo car. the cost difference isnt much.
