Ok guys, I'll do that tomorrow morning. Anyway I checked the lenses and they are a little bit faded, so I took them to a windshield shop to have them polished properly. I also found out that the reflectors are also faded, so I took them to a chrome shop to have them refinished. I'll let you know the outcome of this.

I was wondering what would happen if I bypass the electric system so that when I put the high beams, both filaments (low beam and high beam) stay on. Any word on this? Will the bulb stand the excessive heat?
