Literally every bolt and rivet has been removed and or replaced. 12 layers of previous paint jobs removed, the frame was acid dipped & epoxy painted. And we were just getting started. This car is going to be gifted to him when he finishes college. It is one of those father son things that we will never forget. So you can see that I have been very busy. Thank God that the benzes have held up and not needed much attention. Vette is done and now its time to catch up. . . . .
You da man, Dave! You son's pretty lucky. Experiences like that are very rare, and you're right. Neither of you will forget it. I would have loved to have had a dad who would've spent that much time doing something with me. As beautiful as the Vette is, it can't compare with the experience.
