All I can say is that you will be bored with just being productive and not having to put up with weekyl service pack installs, crashes, app failures, viruses, worms, and so on.

Mac is the choice for musicians for all of the above reasons. I haven't bought one yet, but I plan on joining the "Dark Side" soon.

And now that Mac supports Windows, there is no good reason to not own a Mac...
