Yes...they are under powered...there was a twin Weber carb' kit made for them.

The car is heavy and my customer reports 18 to 26 mpg depending on use.

8.5 to 1 compression ratio.
OE carb's = Dual Solex 44 PHH
Wt= Roadster 2552 lbs.
Wt= Coupe 2596 lbs.
0-60 mph = 14.5 seconds.
