Do not waste your money by having apple install the ram/HD. Use that $100 and get your own 1GB module for 1.5GB. Put that other $50 twards an external USB hard drive. I've seen (and have) 300GB external drives at CompUSA for $160 out the door.
My Mac Mini (G4) has 1GB ram and 990GB of hard drive space. 80GB stock internal, 3x 300GB external, 60GB pocket drive (Plus 1GB and 128mb USB keychains.) Plus a really nice 21" Dell flat CRT I got for $15. It's too slow for me. I'm on the lookout for a good deal on a used dual CPU G5.
