ive read that these cars are supposed to start off in second from a dead standstill if they arent floored. I have counted the shifts when i've pressed very lightly and it starts out in first gear. I can feel 3 shifts and it's a 4 speed tranny. Also, with moderate to heavy pedel pressure the 2-3 shift has a flare to it, all others are crisp, but this one flares. Any thoughts? i'm pretty sure it's an adjustment but i can't get the throttel cable just right. It eaither "thumps" into fourth gear at low peddle pressure or flares too much in other gears. Thanks
