hit man,bet if you take a pair of needle nose vise grips and close off the heater hose your car will cool down.problem is the 'mono valve' with a broken diaphram or just full of coolant behind the rubber.normal default is open it needs to work to close.the heater will always beat the heck out of the cooling on a hot day. david poole
