Very sorry to hear about your cousin. It looks like a blatant case of excessive force, but the police won't even get a slap on the wrist. It wasn't like they couldn't see her hand. She was holding the knife. They could have just surrounded her until she just calmed down. Regardless of what they could have done your cousin is gone and any punishment meted out can't bring her back.
