My son's friend slammed the right rear door on my 99 E320 hard enough that the door does not close after opening from the outside without resetting (pulling on the interior handle) the interior door handle. Does anyone know how to fix this and/or remove the latch to examine it? I have had the door panel off and all of the screws attaching the latch to the door assembly removed but the exterior door handle is still attached.
