There's a new noise in my 91 300SE. As I slow to a stop, I hear what sounds like a motor behind the dash. It seems to rotate at vehicle speed. The speedo itself behaves properly. I haven't touched anything so I don't think it suddenly got kinked.

Any thoughts?
