The torque strut runs from the front of the subframe back to the spindle. You may have to remove the panel that covers the bottom of the engine to get a look at it. It is very common for the bushings to leak on that chasis. They don't contain very much fluid so you either have to look for some discoloration were the fluid ran out or you can see some cracking in the sides of the bushing.
