Not with a good battery. Oil most certainly causes a ton of drag. And Mobil 1 of any weight flows better. Its synthetic cold temps don't affect it as much.

Back in December of 41 the Germans had to light fires under the Panzer 4's oil pans before before they could even crank them. -30 degrees with mineral oil=tar.
