Hi,
I noticed on hot days, the top and bottom 3 or 4 lines of pixels in the LCD multifunctional display become very faint and unreadable. When displaying navigation information, I cannot read the top line which has the street. It is annoying. Has anyone seen the same problem?

Even though my 2001 C240 is out of time for the basic warranty, I believe it is still covered by the emissions warranty which includes the instrument cluster. The emission warranty for California and some other states, is good for 7 years or 70K miles. Anyone tried using this to get the problem fixed?
