The 617 engine in the W116 does not have the things on the valve cover that show in the pik. The W116 has a different cruse control too.

I have a '78, '79, and '80 W116 and none of them have the rubber part that shows in the pik. All 3 have a rubber connector in the linkage but its near the center of the engine.
