I cannot say this enough, if you have an older W126 and live in an area where rust is an issue inspect your brake lines! If they are suspect replace them, they are dirt cheap to replace. I have had to replace brake and fuel lines on both of mine! The SD just blew one apart this week in my garage.
They rust espeicaly bad above the rear subframe, I have replaced all the rear brake lines on both of my W126's.
Also remember before driving any old car thats been sitting for a bit, stand on the brakes hard! Better to blow one in park, than at 50mph.
