Michael: 400k Kms without any failure on your 4matic??? A good word of advice: do put your car in a central square a let people touch it and make a wish. I bet all wishes will come true and you could benefit by charging a small fee for the miracles.
One of the owners of the local M.B. dealer brought a brand new 300E 4matic to the country. After two total failures of the 4matic systems he returned the car to Germany.
