Metric Stuff.....source.....

G'mornin' Folks,

I'm new here on the forum, however I have retired from a career where I gained a great deal of Diesel experience. I have noticed, while reading various posts, that there isn't a bunch of "general" but "useful" information.

I use Metric Multistandard Components Corp. for a great deal of my needs.

http://www.metricmcc.com/

I have been using those folks, professionally and recreationally for over 25 years. They are a great source for all sorts of fasteners, taps, dies, "banjo" fittings, tools, copper rings, "O" rings, measuring instruments, pipe fittings (they are different).....yadda, yadda......if you are seeking some metric stuff, and are not having a lot of luck...they are very helpful!

Also of note.....if you are a really big time gear freak, and know what Whitworth threads are......check them out.......when they say "multistandard" they mean it!!!
