Radiator replacement requried -- a friend of mine tried to fix my Volvo plastic/aluminum rad when the upper hose nipple broke off (in the drive, fortunately), and never did get it to stop leaking even with a new tank.

Hoses are cheap.

A citric acid flush won't hurt a thing.
