I think the problem with this project is that everyone would like to put a 6 speed in their 500E but, like GerryVZ said in an earlier post, they are all waiting on some one else to sink money into it. Since no company is going to do the R&D on this, it is going to take several folks just getting together, pooling resources [money] and trusting a shop to diving in and do one at a fair profit and then commit the orders.

If anyone in the MidWest wants to get together and start working on a real project plan on this, please let me know. I will be happy to help drive the plan [annoying 15 year Sr. Sys Arch and PM in retirement].
