I believe some sort of DuPont paint was used as he uses that exclusively. Primer used was off white. Hood came with black primer. Not sure how many coats of paint used on hood and trunk. Car was in the oven after painting. Whole car was wet sanded prior to applying clear coat (i.e. original clearcoat was removed).

Paint was matched using some sort of a paint scanner from adjacent painted parts. Unsure if paint was scanned prior to removing clear coat or not, come to think of it... If the paint was faded at all, it sure didn't seem like it as the color was even all throughout prior to painting. The clearcoat though needed some work if one were anal enough to go through the whole car with a fine tooth comb (I was

I'll take pics tomorrow when I pick up the car and will post pics then. Maybe I'll give it a week or three and give it the ol' Zaino treatment...
