For manuals, it's faster and cheaper to use the 240D FW insted of lightening a manual 300D FW. I'm sure a few lbs could also be taken off the 240 FW, but it's pretty light for an OM617 as-is. I believe the 300 fw weighs 7# more than the 240, wouldnt put $100 on it but thats the number I have in the back of my head.
