Just thought I'd post some pics to help someone else who might be tackling the EGR. These comments apply to the V8.

I had to remove the coolant reservoir and the engine air supply duct. The pictures below show this duct. One screw near the tranny filler tub, one integral plastic clip to attach duct near top, center, rear of engine and one "clip" that is integral to the duct and "snaps" to attach duct to rear of engine. There is an arrow molded into the duct sort of pointing you to the general direction of this clip.
