Getting elected and re-elected does not prove that one is smart at anything other than getting elected, and that's the only skill in which people misunderestimate W. He is second to none when it comes to getting people to vote for him. As for his job performance, however, he has been consistently misoverestimated. He has failed at each of the following jobs - baseball team owner, oil man, National Guard pilot, Governor, and President.
I could never hope to get elected at anything, so I admire W's accomplishments in that area, but that's as far as it goes with that clown.
