I think I'm an average American. I lived in Iran, Pakistan and India and have visited Baghdad, Afghanistan and Beirut. I'm also pretty good with Geography and history.

It's a pertinant question to ask what your experience in Middle Eastern countries has been. Can you pick out Persepolis on a map?

A large chunk of those ME countries don't like us because of who we are and what we represent. If you are married and you have done what your wife has told you to do on occasion, that is one such act they find abhorrant. If you havn't praised Allah several times today, that's another.

The whole "multiculturism" argument is kind of silly on the face of things. Especially moreso when the other culture wants you dead.
