not sure about the rear windows but your sunroof problem may be due to an incorrect or lack of service with the correct MB grease. Eventually the slowing will get worse and worse and finally manefest itself as a cable or motor failure. The sunroof in a 126 is a major PITA to deal with and I would guess that the 140 would be even worse.
