I might suggest that you check the connections in the back of the radio. You should have a Battery hot line 12volts all the time and then a Keyed 12volts line from the ignition. If your Battery line voltage is missing or a fuse blown on that line then the problem you have would make sence. Check for the two powers and let me know.
