As I noted ASR is a 2 fold system..traction & electronic accelerator.

IF only the ASR lamp comes then codes need to be read from the EC/CC/ISC system only.

IF both the ASR & ABS lamps come on then the traction system codes & the EA codes must be read..ODB2 won't get the job done...a dedicated scanner for MB is required.
