I can recommend Canadian Auto Glass and Trim at 219 Gerrard St E in Toronto. Phone 416 323 1865. They just repaired both front seat bottoms on my 83 300sd - fixed broken springs, repadded with high density foam. $150 per seat which seemed a good deal to me. They often work on Mercs, BMWs etc.

They also quoted $275 CAD to supply and install a new windshield for me which is about 25% cheaper than anyone else.

Not a "restoration" shop but a reasonable, workmanlike operation.

Just don't believe them when they say they open at 8am. 8:45 is more like it!
