This is so incredibly easy it isn't funny. I don't know how anyone could remotely say it is hard to get the back off.

Just undo the two philips screws on the bottom and then just take a flat blade screw driver and go to bottom right corner and where side leather comes to back seam. Pull on bottom back panel to get this seam to open up and then just slide blade of screwdriver up the back.

I had min opened up in less than 15 seconds. one of the easiest things I have ever done on a car, outside of putting gas in.
