Ricky, as far as I know all W201s and W124s used the spring pads with the 201 part#. The spring pads with the W201 part#s are the 8/13/18/23mm thick springpads.

The W202 started with 201# spring pads as well but that was changed in the production process into the 210# springpads (5/9/13/17mm thick). When I order new springpads for an older W202, I still get 201# springpads...not 210# springpads...

The colorcode on the springs say something about the stifness/maximum load off/on the springs. The spring that was used by mercedes (on one certain model/engine) from factory depends on the options that are on the car...such as auto transmission, airco, power seats...

I would go for the 201# springpads...
