My 87 190E will not shift normally from 2nd to 3rd unless I release the accelerator pedal and sometimes I have to do it numerous times back and forth to get it to eventually shift. I've been told it could be the "kickdown solenoid". If so, where is that thing located. Or if you have other suggestions, please let me know.
