This is FYI to help other 300E owners. blowing fuses for dash lights and rt tail light????

My car is a 300E.
This fuse 3 under the hood seemed like it would blow whenever it wanted. One day I was lucky enough to chase it to blowing every time I went over a speed bump. A little more looking, I found that if I slammed the trunk shut hard, it will blow. This would not happen everytime, but I finally got lucky and it was enough to help find the problem.
I've seen post on this in the past but it wasn't the same fix. I spent much time finding this one. After chasing down everything it turned out to be the wires going to the trunk for lighting. At first glance I ignored this because the plasic wrap seemed fine. After I opened up the plastic wrap going to the lights in the trunk, I found the broken wires causing fuse #3 to blow. These wires break over time even thought the hard plastic wrap looks perfect. Maybe this will help someone pulling out their hair!
