As I explained before, if the air can get past the back of the speaker to your ear, it is cancelling the bass from the front...i.e. you have not installed them right. You cannot just put a speaker ON a door and expect it to work, this is why all home speakers are in cabinets, so the back waves cannot cancel out the front waves.

The Uniplanes are good speakers, but like ANY speakers, must be installed correttly.

Suggest you take your car to an install shop who will be more than happy to cut into your door ;-)
