I believe that these are knock-offs of the trufilter oil filters with a machined adaptor to fit the fuel filter housing. They used to be assembled from ultra oil filters which went off-line a few months ago and now seems reincarnated as http://www.chriscoproducts.com/

I talked to the trufilter guy months ago about canister oil filters (which he said were under development, by the way) and he had nothing nice to say about ultra oil filters.
