You really should make sure you know what you're talking about before posting.
Saying that I live in some kind of isolated air-conditoined comfort, merely sitting around absorbing propaganda from the television is a VERY large and unfounded assumption on your part. And couldn't be much further from the truth.
A couple other folks here who make equally arrogant and flippant judgements of others, and who have equally inadequate knowledge of my experiences for making such broad assumptions, have made a similar mistake.
My entire 20-year career has involved traveling to other states and countries. In those two decades, I have lived and worked in a wider variety of locations and situations, with a more diverse assortment of people, and have simply done more "living", than most folks do in a LIFETIME. And CERTAINLY more than some snot-nosed, know-it-all, spoiled-brat, self-absorbed college kid.
As I said before... I defend his right to put his foot in his mouth as often as he wishes. He seems to be getting quite good at it. Practice makes perfect....
