Yeah.
Hitler thought that way too.
And just look what he accomplished!
You've obviously never had anyone break into your home, or try to attack you and steal your car... or any of the many other horrible crimes that a legally-owned and intelligently-used gun can save you from.
My gun saved me from serious injury and/or death once already. If you want to take it from me, you'd better be prepared to kill me for it.

You want to call it a sport, give that moose a gun and see who is better.

I'm not a hunter, and I have never been hunting.
Although I am perfectly fine with hunting for food, I think hunting for "sport" is a waste of time, effort, and ammunition, and I have zero interest in it.
However, your comments are simply ridiculous.
WE are at the top of the food chain. Deal with it.
Knife, spear, trap, bow and arrow... whatever... The animal STILL dies.
What difference does it make what particular device is used to do it? A gun is simply a more accurate, efficient hunting tool (in qualified hands, of course).
At least it is usually quick and painless with a gun... more often than with other, more primitive weapons, at least.
Hunting with a gun is INFINITELY more humane than they way most predators in the animal kingdom kill their prey... Have you ever watched a cat torture a mouse before killing it and eating it?... Have you ever watched a snake suffocate a rabbit?... Humans are quite humane in our hunting habits, relatively speaking.
