get ready for a sad story


so today i was at my friends house. she left to go get some cigarettes. when she came back she informed me she had a little accident. SHE RAN INTO MY CAR!!!!!!! smashed the drivers door a little but totaly caved in the drivers side passanger door on my belovid 240D!!! i couldnt believe this was actully happening!!

i took it to a couple places to get an estimte. the cheapest estimate was 1850.00$ and thats with fixing the door, which i guess it is possible. with a whole new door it would cost 2500.00 (did u know that a passanger door shell cost 1010.00??)


so im kinda paniced here. im thinking that her insurance company is going to try and total my car!!! its in really good condition - the accident. but there is no rust or anything on it.

my question is. what can i do to make it so they wont total it??? i should have had it appraised!! any thoughts?
